Like whales in the ocean, singing at frequencies that solely belongs to us. Searching through the vast universe, for this song to be heard.

E shared with us her healing journey of depression, of how she made peace with the season that visit like ebb and flow of tides. She wants a piece to remind her of the gentleness of the moonlight and the peace it brings. She is embarking on a new journey, a new life in another city. Some how, many of her milestones happen in city with rivers including this new city she is moving to and she wants us to incorporate element of rivers in her piece.

The moon element of the design is based on the waxing gibbous moon phase. This is to capture the process of healing. For the moon phases that is visible as it lights up, the moon is in fact still whole and complete. This symbolism is to represent how E embraces the dark season she is going through and the season doesn’t define or dictate who she is. In terms of crafting approach, the full moon is carefully design with titled facade so when the light shines from different angle, the moon will show different faces that lights up.

On the face, water ripples are carved into the pendant to represent the river in a subtle manner with small diamond set into the pendant as reflection of stars in the river.

D & I are two very independent individuals whom lead a part of life that is very personal to themselves and share another part of their life wholeheartedly together. They value respect and trust very much in their relationship. Together, they redefine the definition of home for each other, to be each other’s safe space and to be the constant that each other returns to.

I express to us that she always wanted a very detailed and ornate piece with heirloom quality natural alexandrite. Hence, we have sourced for a GIA certified excellent quality alexandrite for this bespoke project.

Adorning the alexandrite is a halo with a hidden mathematical union set showing a collection of shared life and the part of life that is independent. On the side, freesia flowers are carved into the ring band as a symbolic of trust and respect, the values that they both hold dear in their relationship.

Jeff wanted to propose to Audrey with a piece that symbolise the importance of family value in their relationship while capturing their cultural element in the piece. Jeff is from West Malaysia while Audrey is from East Malaysia. Knowing that how important family bond is to Audrey and how they are residing in West Malaysia after marriage, Jeff view his role to bring both family. closer as a whole. Above all, he wants the piece to represent Audrey as a person, bright and colourful.

Embracing both of their culture as Jeff is of Punjabi heritage and Audrey is of Iban and Bidayuh heritage, their bespoke piece carries representation of wedding blessing from each culture. Flower petals to represent the garland of Punjabi wedding, melee diamond as the beaded necklace represented to the newly wed during a Bidayuh wedding and halved betel nut place under the newly wed seat during an Iban wedding.

The element flows into the centre of the ring, holding a custom cut spinel to symbolise their effort in the marriage to build a family with tender love and care together.
